During her university years in Ho Chi Minh City, majoring in Science, Katie Duyen cultivated a deep interest in personal growth. Later, while pursuing a Master’s degree in Business and Commerce at Western Sydney University, she gained valuable international exposure and insight into modern business dynamics. Studying and working in multicultural environments helped shape her global perspective and laid the foundation for her diverse, cross-disciplinary career path ahead.
After completing her master’s degree in 2014, Katie Duyen returned to Vietnam and began working as an English lecturer at Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City. At the same time, she successively held managerial and executive assistant positions at several businesses. Alongside her professional work, she continued studying and researching skills and moral philosophy.
In June 2017, she founded The Sungate Consulting & Training Co., Ltd., a pioneering model that bridges English training with life strategy consulting rooted in Eastern wisdom. The Sungate operates on a streamlined structure, optimized in operations, specialized in services, and dedicated to quality. The company encompasses two divisions: The Sungate Business English Coaching, focusing on communication, self-learning, and global integration; and The Sungate Keidi Horoscopes, providing astrology and feng shui guidance to support personal growth, inner balance, and sustainable prosperity.
What may appear to be two different paths, actually complement each other like Yin-Yang cirle, East and West, logic and intuition, outer growth and inner balance. Together, they form a complete journey of development, empowering individuals to cultivate practical capability and inner clarity growing with confidence, harmony, and lasting success.
The Sungate Keidi Horoscopes provides continuous companionship through diverse forms of support, from sharing forecasts and insights on life cycles, along with reflective articles and practical video content, to offering perspectives on trends and shifts in the times (helping clients stay attuned to the flow of energy and align with timely developments). It also includes comprehensive lifetime consultation packages, as well as seasonal Astrology - Feng Shui - I Ching -Tarot sessions at the beginning of each year (to help set direction for the year ahead), or whenever clients seek guidance regarding their work, family, or career at different stages of life.
In addition, the Keidi Fengshui Logo Design service, tailored for entrepreneurs and startups, has become a signature highlight that brings annual vibrancy to The Sungate Keidi Horoscopes’ activities.

Since 2023, Katie Duyen has embarked on a journey of global exploration when The Sungate reached a stable stage of development (after 6 years of operation). These journeys, experiencing life and international cultures, have broadened her personal horizons with aspirations for travel, exploration, global integration; while spreading the Vietnamese spirit of learning, dedication, and meaningful values filled with national pride.
Not born at the finish line, everything has to be achieved through effort and perseverance, without a “powerful passport” that makes stepping into the world effortless, Katie Duyen began from humble beginnings, learning, starting her own business, and gradually defining her own path and values. This journey is not only one of professional growth but also a journey that celebrates the Vietnamese spirit of reaching out to the world through one’s own effort and determination.
Her journey first took her through Australia, Japan, South Korea, and Singapore, and not long after, Katie Duyen achieved another remarkable milestone - receiving her U.S. visa on the very first interview, one of the most selective and challenging processes for Vietnamese applicants. Her U.S. visa was approved under the Consulate’s highest credibility level, an acknowledgment of her transparency, credibility, and The Sungate’s consistent, reliable development.
