During her university years in Ho Chi Minh City, majoring in Science, Katie Duyen (Keidi) cultivated a deep interest in personal growth. Later, while pursuing a Master’s degree in Business and Commerce at Western Sydney University, she gained valuable international exposure and insight into modern business dynamics. Studying and working in multicultural environments helped shape her global perspective and laid the foundation for her diverse, cross-disciplinary career path ahead.
In June 2017, she founded The Sungate Consulting & Training Co., Ltd., a pioneering model that integrates English training and life strategy consulting based on Eastern philosophy. Initially focused on The Sungate Business English Coaching, the company soon expanded to include The Sungate Keidi Horoscopes, offering Astrology and Feng Shui guidance to help clients strengthen their inner foundation alongside professional growth.
What might seem like two distinct paths, English education and Eastern consulting, actually complement each other like Yin-Yang cirle, East and West, logic and intuition, outer growth and inner balance.

Since 2023, Katie Duyen has embarked on a journey of global exploration when The Sungate reached a stable stage of development (after 6 years of operation). These journeys, experiencing life and international cultures, have broadened her personal horizons with aspirations for travel, exploration, global integration; while spreading the Vietnamese spirit of learning, dedication, and meaningful values filled with national pride.
Not born at the finish line, everything has to be achieved through effort and perseverance, without a “powerful passport” that makes stepping into the world effortless, Katie Duyen began from humble beginnings, learning, starting her own business, and gradually defining her own path and values. This journey is not only one of professional growth but also a journey that celebrates the Vietnamese spirit of reaching out to the world through one’s own effort and determination.
Her journey first took her through Australia, Japan, South Korea, and Singapore, and not long after, Katie Duyen achieved another remarkable milestone - receiving her U.S. visa on the very first interview, one of the most selective and challenging processes for Vietnamese applicants. Her approval reflected her transparent personal record, professional credibility, and The Sungate’s steady, trustworthy development as a growing international brand.
